Hi,

Sean Blaschke, from UNICEF and myself created a page for Pitlatrine. There
must be hundreds of millions of these around the globe, and during
waterhacking day today, we found a Ugandan team building a management
application for them.

Using OSM as a store for these kind of applications seems like a good idea.

I would suggest to use it in a subtag-way instead of the flags way:
toilets=pitlatrine

regards
Peter

P.S.: I'll add that to the talk page, too

Yes, I think that is better. It helps to classify it by function, and
also keeps few things in the higher levels of the tag tree.
